Spin the fan by hand a bit and pull/push it in/out gently. I had it all detailed for them, and I am also seeing screen freezes, cursor disappears, so it has to be related. Is the card still under warranty? I agree, I think it's a software issue as well -- something to do with Apple's thermal management (or lack of) for that GPU.
