I mean, it's good your computer not crashing anymore, but making an additional copy of atikmag.sys when it's loaded from elsewhere won't help others who read this forum, right? I'll try to uninstall it, and install the drivers from asus.com instead of the Win7 drivers. However, I am still getting the same black screen crashes as before. Everything works fine, many hours of gaming, some videos, many youtube, zero crashes black screens, etc.

Why would swapping the two sticks make any difference? Maybe I could see if a process started just before the crash, and have some clues to a potential cure.
