I think all of my personal systems have the same user id. All three boxes under "Allow" are checked off.I have turned off password protected file sharing.All the other computers can see this shared drive but when they click on it they are OK this sorta worked. w8's advanced sharing all seem reasonable (turn on network discovery & file and printer sharing for private networks, off for public; all networks public folder sharing & password protected sharing are my review here
